PSP Well Pump Surge Protectors 10 Year Product Warranty 10 Year Connected Equipment Warranty PSP Products, Inc. (PSP) warrants to the original purchaser that this Well Pump Protector (WPP) will be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase and the WPP is warranted against lightning damage. PSP will, at its option, repair or replace a defective WPP in accordance with the terms and conditions of this warranty. COVERAGE LIMITATION The coverage above is exclusive remedy under this warranty, whether based on contract, tort, including negligence, or otherwise. PSP reserves the right to determine whether or not the WPP is defective. Claims must be made within 30 days after the discovery of a defect. CONNECTED EQUIPMENT COVERAGE Connected equipment will be covered to a limit of $ 10,000 per occurrence for a single protected device under the following conditions: 1. A PSP well pump device is installed at the equipment being protected, typically inside the well head for submerged pumps and at the pump AC connection for above ground pumps. 2. Any other data, low voltage wires, and phone lines attaching to the equipment must also be protected by a PSP surge protection device. 3. The device must be properly grounded. With the device installed, if it fails and permits a damaging surge to reach the connected equipment, PSP will pay for the repair or replacement of the connected equipment up to the $10,000 limit. Coverage is limited to the cost of the pump itself and excludes coverage of labor / installation costs to remove and replace the well pump. PROTECTION EXCLUSIONS This warranty does not cover defects associated with obsolescence, abuse, non-authorized equipment modification or alteration, misuse, improper installation or catastrophic events. In all of the above warranties, PSP warranty is secondary to all other warranties and insurance. In the case of other insurance in place, PSP will pay the deductible. The above coverage applies to the user only and is the exclusive remedy under this warranty, whether based on contract, tort, including negligence, or otherwise. PSP reserves the right to audit damage, site and/or cost of repairs and may require a notarized proof of loss. Claims must be made within 30 days of damage. This warranty does not cover damage associated with sustained overvoltages, vandalism, theft, normal wear and tear, obsolescence, abuse, unauthorized modification or alteration, misuse, improper installation or catastrophic events. Except as expressly provided by this warranty, PSP disclaims liability for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages arising out of the sale or use of any PSP product (including without limitation: lost business profits, loss of data and all freight, mileage, travel time and insurance charges associated with warranty coverage claims). Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary, from state to state. This warranty is valid in the United States and Canada only. Caution: Effective surge suppression requires correct wiring. ALL SURGE PROTECTION DEVICES MUST BE PROPERLY GROUNDED FOR WARRANTY TO BE HONORED!
